Your health and safety, along with the wellbeing of our team, are of paramount importance to us. And so, in compliance with the Government of Alberta’s official recommendations, Alpine Social will be shutting our doors temporarily effective Friday, March 20, 2020. This certainly isn’t goodbye, it’s farewell for now. We’ll be back as soon as we can, and look forward to welcoming each of you in the near future. In the meantime, we will offer In Room Dining, minimal seating in the Lakeview Lounge and Poppy Brasserie to ensure social distancing is permitted, as well as takeout at the Chateau Deli, so that we can continue to serve our valued guests. Stay safe!
At Alpine Social we’re certain about two things. That people like mountain adventures and that they like to brag about them. So we’ve taken matters into our own hands and created the social hub of Lake Louise. Inspired by the glory days of Canadian mountaineering, Alpine Social is the place to meet, eat and celebrate.
Avoid cabin fever. Be social in the alpine.
Surrounded by soaring mountain peaks, the majestic Victoria Glacier and a glistening emerald lake, the iconic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise hotel is located in Alberta’s Banff National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is recognized globally for progressive environmental stewardship and responsible tourism.
Originally built as a base for outdoor enthusiasts and alpinists over 100 years ago, Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is a year-round luxury mountain resort offering guided mountain tours, world-class skiing in the winter, scenic hiking and canoe activities in the summer, kid’s camp, a luxury spa, and exceptional dining experiences.
Step into our backyard and discover endless outdoor recreational activities including downhill skiing and snowboarding, cross-country skiing, ice skating, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and horse drawn sleigh rides in the winter; and hiking, canoeing, horseback riding, fishing, mountain biking and river rafting in the summer.
If you’re looking for hearty comfort food, you’ve found it. Its artisan, locally grown, alpine-inspired food and it tastes even better at 5,200 feet. Claim your seat at the bar or gather your crew and dig in to dishes that will satisfy your mountain-size appetite. Keep in mind; calories don’t count in the Rockies.
